Kabelloses Überwachungssystem im Anmarsch?

They said it wouldn't be just a games console, and is seems they were not f*****g kidding. Smartvue who are a company that specializes in surveillance and security technology, have created a security system that works through a network of wireless cameras and the Cloud specifically designed to work with the Xbox One.

The device is currently being touted through KickStarter, where the developers hope to acquire a whopping $180,000 by the October the 6th deadline. Because the technology is primarily using the cloud, you can use a number of media to keep an eye what is happening at your home from a computer, tablet, phone and of course direct on your Xbox One.

On the KickStarter page, Smartvue go into more detail on the device by stating:

"We designed Homevue to help people stay connected to what they love and make their world a safer place. Homevue is a plug and play home video surveillance solution designed especially for use with Microsoft Xbox. The elegant wireless Homevue cameras are wireless and can be placed almost anywhere. They deliver HD video to the cloud where they can be viewed from your Xbox or remotely from any computer, smartphone or tablet at no additional monthly cost.

Homevue works while you are playing games (keep an eye on the baby or see who is at the front door while shooting down aliens) or even when your Xbox is turned off. You can receive automated texts and emails with images when motion is detected and have the option to record video on the integrated Homevue cloud for only $99 a year.

The entire system can be installed in seconds - simply place the cameras, turn on your Xbox and start up the Homevue app - the rest is automatic!"

As it turns out this could be a much cheaper way to install a video security system in your home for just a fraction of the price of a more conventional security system on the market today. Now if only they had achievements- Catch someone undress... er catch a burglar 100G. Is this something you would be interested in? Would you be wary of having a security system stored on the cloud?

Hm klingt nützlich finde ich. Okay aber sowas macht bei einem Haus mehr sinn.
In meiner lage (Wohnung unter 100 qm im Sechsten Stock) eher weniger. ^^

Ich stell mir das seltsam vor wenn du zockst, gleichzietig die Überwachungsapp angedockt hast und plötzlich siehste auf dem TV wie einer hinter dir steht und dir beim Zocken zuschaut.

Ich musste gerade als ich den Post las an Paranormal Activity denken. Gemütlich zockt der Mann unten im Wohnzimmer, nebenbei sieht er beim Zocken wie die Kamera schwenkt und er sieht wie seine Frau in den Keller gezogen wird.

Und dann zeigt sich was du für ein Mensch bist. Hilfst du deiner Frau oder bleibst du treu bei deinen Kameraden in der Onlineschlacht?

Also bei einigen Games... Schwierig.

Vielleicht gibt es dann bald die passenden Mini Roboter. Heißt um Wäsche zu Waschen, zu Kochen oder die Frau aus dem Keller zu retten wechselst du kurz in den Snap modus. Zack zack und los gehts. ^^
