Das Spiel führt einen in die verdorbene Welt aus Spionage & Korruption der 70er Jahre zu Zeiten des Kalten Krieges.

Sehr frühe Konzept-Bilder eines Ex-Rockstarmitarbeiters aus dem Jahre 2009. Die Grafik zeigt natürlich nicht mal ansatzweise das fertige Spiel, aber es gibt einen Ausblick auf mögliche Schauplätze.





Jack Tretton ist sich zudem garnicht mehr sicher, ob es noch PS3-exklusiv ist.

Das Spiel ist ein Phantom. Seit der E3 2009 angekündigt gibt es bis heute keine konkreten Infos. Doch wenn Rockstar ein Spiel mit Spionage-Thematik macht kann man Großes erwarten.

Rockstar has previously reiterated that Agent is still in development, and now Rockstar's parent company - Take-Two Interactive - has registered the trademark again, suggesting the game is still being considered.

What is interesting about this pair of Agent trademarks - one for the name, another for the logo - is that they are actually brand new registrations, rather than extensions of an existing registration.

Most companies developing a game register a trademark long in advance, and while that lasts for quite some time often these need to be extended (without proof of its existance, a trademark can only be maintained for so long). An extension is only valid for six months, while a new trademark registration is valid for much longer. It'll take three months from now for the new registration to be approved.

With the promise of next-gen consoles on the horizon it could be that Rockstar has been hard at work turning Agent into a PS4 or Xbox One game - but don't expect to see Agent released any time soon.
