Das kommt überraschend: Wie Microsoft soeben mitgeteilt hat, wird Gears of War 3 für Xbox 360 nicht nur als erster Teil der Serie offiziell in Deutschland veröffentlicht, sondern hierzulande (mit dem Segen der USK) sogar komplett ungeschnitten erscheinen.

Die thematisch sehr ähnlichen Vorgänger hatten es dank übertriebenem Kettensägen-Einsatz und anderen Splatter-Effekten auf dem deutschen Markt alles andere als leicht: Beide Spiele wurden nie offiziell in Deutschland vertrieben und landeten sogar auf dem Index. Volljährige Fans der Abenteuer von Marcus Fenix und dem Delta-Squad konnten nur über Import-Händler an die Third-Person-Actionspiele kommen. Auch der dritte Teil ist nur für Erwachsene geeignet, wird aber nun nicht nur unter der Ladentheke erhältlich sein. [...]
