den einzigen film den ich mir aus dieser öden auswahl geben würde, wäre grad budapest hotel und das auch nur wenn ich extreme langeweile hätte.

Ich weiß zwar grad nicht mehr wo ich es genau gelesen habe, aber offensichtlich will man den nächsten Alien Film (Blomkamp) nach Teil 2 ansetzen und die Teile 3 und 4 komplett ignorieren.
Weiß nicht was ich davon halten soll. Einerseits sind die beiden letzten Filme sicherlich nicht die beliebtesten, aber ich finde es schon scheiße das man jetzt wieder ein Universum zerlegt und bereits erschienene Stories
für ungültig erklärt.
Dann sollen sie halt entweder direkt nen kompletten Reboot machen oder eher in Richtung Alien Isolation gehen, ohne Weaver, und andere Geschichten aus dem Universum erzählen.

Lustigerweise schau ich zur Zeit wieder die ganzen Alien- und Predator-Filme, nachdem man mir vor einiger Zeit die DVD von Prometheus geschenkt hat. (Predator 1 ist übrigens erstaunlich schlecht und Predator 2 erstaunlich gut gealtert.) Ich mein, ich mag Alien 3 und Alien 4 auch nicht (wobei ich vermutlich einer der wenigen Menschen bin der Teil 4 mehr gefällt als Teil 3), aber die Idee mit Ripley als Halb-Xenomorph ist doch ein grandioses Setting. Sollen sie doch lieber damit was anfangen. Ich warte z.B. bis heute drauf, dass sie endlich Alien vs Predator vs Terminator verfilmen.

Ich habe nur Teil 1+2 gesehen. Was meint ihr? Soll ich mir Teil 3+4 noch anschauen oder ist es besser auf die anscheinend katastrophalen Filme zu verzichten und die ersten beiden Teile in positiver Erinnerung zu behalten?

teil 3 ist definitiv nicht katastrophal. erst ist zwar nicht so gut wie teil 1 und 2, aber ich persönlich fand ihn besser asl teil 4. es lohnt sich auf jedenfall ihn anzuschaun. ich finde es echt schade das der neue alien teil nacht teil 2 spielt und das teil 3 und 4 ignoriert wird. in bezug auf teil 4 stört mich das nicht so sehr.
