Microsoft hat eine Game of the Year Edition zu Halo 4 angekündigt, welche im Oktober erscheinen soll. Die GOTY-Edition wird neben dem Hauptspiel auch alle bisherigen DLCs enthalten.

Dazu zählt die Spartan Ops Season 1, der War Game Map Pass (enthält drei Map Packs), das Champions-Bundle sowie alle Vorbestellerboni und die Inhalte der Special Edition.

Die Halo 4 Game of the Year Edition soll $49,99 US-Dollar kosten. Einen genauen Releasetermin gibt es noch nicht.
