There will be “four or six” cores to the Xbox 720 CPU, one of which will be reserved for Kinect and one for the OS.

Xbox 720 will require an always-on internet connection as an anti-piracy measure.

We’ve also been told that the next generation of Kinect will be built into the device as standard.

The details have emerged in the wake of a hastily removed tweet from Sean Tracy, a technical designer for Crytek, that said he was attending the “Durango summit” in London at the end of February. Durango is though to be the codename for the console.

Microsoft is not expected to announce anything pertaining to its next machine until next year.

Many developers have been posting job openings for “next-gen” and “future-gen” systems for months.

Lionhead and Bethesda are just two of the latest.

Überschrift in deutsch, der Rest in Englisch...........auch nicht schlecht Aber wie immer nur Gerüchte. Vor allem "die Xbox muss ständig mit dem INet verbunden sein", da glaub ich nicht dran. Blu Ray Laufwerk, ok....

Es ist ja schon seit einigen Jahren so das irgendwelche Websites immer irgendwelche Gerüchte aus angeblich sicheren Quellen haben. Und immer war alles Falsch bisher

Alleine schon das ist bullshit, bei 4 Cores währen dann noch 2 Über, dass ist genau soviel wie jetzt... das wär jetzt schon technisch total veraltet. Und nichts mit "2 PCs taped together" und die 7000er GPU Serie? Sowas haben ja teilweise Bürorechner schon...

Vielleicht meinen die mit "2 PCs taped together" die Lautstärke

Na toll. Da legt man für die Konsole 700 EUR oder mehr hin, für die Games 80-90 EUR und wird dann noch mit dem Onlinepass Müll und den DLCs abgezockt. Wenn das so kommt, häng ich mein Hobby an den Nagel.

Och bitte nicht noch mehr von diesen Bescheuerten Gerüchten von Gamedreck und PCSchrottgames...

Die alle aus der selben völlig Unglaubwürdigen Quelle stammen, aber klar, dass generiert bei denen Klicks ... und überhaupt keiner Will sowas auf PCSeiten lesen, kein wunder das denen die Leser wegrennen

Ich kann diese "Womöglich" "Unter Umständen" "Prophezeien" "Anonyme Quelle" "Will herrausgefunden haben" scheisse einfach nicht mehr Lesen...

Nun, damit war doch eh zu rechnen, als es hieß das sich normale Wii Hardware verwenden lässt, wenn die überhaupt annähernd an die PS3 grenze kommt wär das schon eine Überraschung.

Sony und MS dürften die Wii U auch kaum als Konkurenten sehen, die bedient ein anderes Clientel...
